Tesamorelin

What is it? Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that stimulates the pituitary gland to increase natural growth hormone production and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) levels. It is approved in some countries for a specific medical indication (reduction of excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV-associated lipodystrophy), but it is not approved for general weight loss, bodybuilding, or anti-aging.
